Inspired by the eternal love that Cookie Popper has for her late daughter Jodi who suffered from Cystic Fibrosis and passed at the age of 26, it was initially only a hobby for Cookie to find meaning in life. Realizing the joy and value of sharing this remarkable story, a hobby developed into a business when youngest daughter Mandy stepped in. The unique business name was created by combining letters of Cookie and Jodi’s first names and Coji launched in 2009. It has grown in leaps and bounds over the years but remains true to its core value of creating beautiful handmade jewelry with the intention to inspire others.

Jodi was deeply spiritual, loved life and always found ways to motivate others. She always wanted her courageous story to be told and her love for life to be shared as wide as possible. The original bracelet created by Cookie in 2009 was inspired by Jodi’s final message which was as profound as it was poignant and underlies another value of the business… ”if you can just learn how to be, you will be okay.”

After such a positive response to the initial bracelet, Coji was encouraged to develop further and today the business boasts a wide range of bracelets and necklaces utilizing a variety of materials including suede, cord, wax and silk. Innovation remains key to our business and we select only the best components manufactured both locally and abroad. Our secret sauce is our ability to custom make any order, meaning that the only limitation is your imagination!

To ensure that Jodi’s memory and spirit is kept alive, Coji is a proud supporter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation where a share of proceeds from every piece sold is donated to the Foundation.
